I can't believe the reviews on here. Riverside is the classic American style burger. I suppose these trendy burger chains are what's passing for a great burger now days. I'll stick with Riverside and the classic mom n pop style burger joint.

Went to eat there for lunch with all of my coworkers. They all love the place. It's okay. Burger was super greasy. But we did have 12 orders all together and all of them were made well to order. Fried pickles are the best fried pickles I've had. Pretty cheap for the size of everything. Id eat there again but I would never suggest/pick it for myself.

This place was referred and we were told some of the best burgers in Baton Rouge. Rarely do I give a review less than 3-stars, but this place did not give us anything but a sick stomach! Upon walking in we thought it was going to be an awesome dining experience, which it was initially, especially because this place was poppin' with customers! The burgers were fairly large that my husband and I got to share one with a side of fries! I am very critical, when it comes to cleanliness. Almost everything I encountered was grimy and the bathrooms were HORRIBLE... it smelled like a_s (fill in the blank)! A bathroom is supposed to be a place for one to freshen up, wash hands before a meal and do some business, if necessary! It was sad because I cold barely stand to be in there for a nanosecond because the smell made me ill! When we received our food, it was great; however, upon our return home it was not so great! We were all sick to our stomachs from the food... my husband looked at each other and said "NEVER AGAIN"!! We do not have any plans on returning to this place. There are other burger joints in the are that are way better and way cleaner! I do not have super high standards, but this place put my standards to the test!

So-so? Burgers are big, but have no flavor. Fries are frozen, taste old.

hmmm....I just visited Riverside Patty today and the burgers aren't as tasty as I remember. It may have been just my burger but it was dry and lacking flavor. The curly Qs were still delicious but I came for the burgers. Riverside Patty, please step up your game because I now feel Mugshots and Fat Cow make better burgers!

Like the other location, is super yum. Burgers are huge and the options for toppings is extensive. Can get busy at lunch obviously, so you might have better luck calling your order in and picking it up.

Walking into Riverside Patty, the place doesn't look like anything special. Unfortunately for it, the feeling continues throughout the entire meal. I mean, listen, the burgers are fine (if you like yours well-done) and the sides are fine, too. But that's just it--there's not really anything special going on here. One of my friends commented that he liked the patty melt, but it looked generic to me as well. I expected more from this dive-y restaurant, especially given the Yelp reviews and the price. I'll give credit where credit is due; the meal will fill you and there isn't really anything to complain about, but it isn't food worth writing home about either. I've definitely had better burgers and I'd probably choose Five Guys over Riverside Patty given the opportunity. That doesn't mean you shouldn't come here, however. Riverside Patty is a chill place to get a reasonably-priced meal with your friends or colleagues. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy most, but I wouldn't bother bringing a vegetarian. There's ample seating and the place was clean enough. Just don't come with high expectations for the food--I don't think it's worth the 4+ star rating Yelpers give it.

Good, tasty burgers for a pretty decent price. It's not quick, but it is delicious. This place is pretty much the epitome of a divey burger joint, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Added bonus: you can get either curly q fries or tater tots. Yum!
